Because we help each other out! Miguel Bosé, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Maná, and Gustavo Cerati initiated a campaign organized by América Latina en Acción Solidaria (ALAS Foundation) to help the earthquake victims in Peru.
ALAS was established back in December 2006 to help our Latin roots from poverty. Other celebrities involved in the organization are: Alejandro Fernández, Carlos Vives, Diego Torres, Ricardo Arjona, Juanes, Thalia, Malú y Daniela Mercury, Diego Uma (Babasónicos), Timbiriche, Aleks Syntek, Chayanne, Reyli, Tania Libertad, Catupecumachu, Ricardo Montaner, Pepe Alva, Beto Cuevas, Julieta Venegas, Benny Ibarra, Lucero, Daddy Yankee, Omar Alfano, Gianmarco and Fidel Nadal.
